1.      William Paca House and Gardens

This 18th-century treasure boasts a manicured landscape and beautiful, well-kept gardens with various exotic plants. Taking a picture of the gardens or against the natural beauty is a chance you don’t want to pass by. Besides the gardens, the House itself carries the beauty of 18th-century architecture. Many special events, including weddings and receptions, are held in this breathtaking property.

2.  Chesapeake Bay

The Chesapeake Bay runs across more than five cities, and Annapolis is one of them. It is classified as the largest estuary in the world. You can take beautiful pictures along the shores in the sand or the water and capture the massive number of sailboats found here. 3.  Maryland State House

If you are a history enthusiast, you will want to take a picture of this historical monument of 17th-century architecture. The building towers with beauty and carries some of the most significant moments of American history. For instance, it is where the signing of the Paris Treaty took place.

4.  City Dock

This is also referred to as Ego Alley. Here, you will find all kinds of boats in their numbers. Do not forego an opportunity to experience and photograph Annapolis as the “sailing city.” Apart from the ships, City Dock has bars, shops, and restaurants. You can shop, sail, or just site see, but whatever you do provides a perfect background for beautiful photos.

You will also get inspired by the presence of people who are passionate about serving the nation, so this is a memory worth keeping.

6. Historic London Town and Gardens

This breathtaking place is located in Edgewater. It entails twenty-three acres of history, nature, and archaeology at its best. You would be remiss if you left Annapolis without a photo in this place. Take a picture at the Woodland Gardens, filled with countless plant varieties, or at the Ornamental Gardens. You can also capture the William Brown House or the archaeological investigation currently underway. There is provision for weddings, so you can consider having your wedding here if you live close by.

The park also hosts a couple of bird species, so you can take photos of those too if they fascinate you. Sandy Point is also an excellent place to catch a view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. If you fancy boats, you could hire one from the marina and capture some moments in it.

12.  The Towne Centre Mural

Annapolis Towne Centre is always a beehive of activity, and there may not seem to be a perfect place for at least one good photo, but there is. Stand in front of the mural to complete the art and look like a butterfly.
