The building is among the most visited attraction site in Carson City, Nevada. Its construction began around 1869 and was completed in 1871. The building is among other sites listed in the country’s Historic Places register. The building’s architecture clearly shows that it was erected with a Neoclassical Italianate design. The building came into existence after Abraham Curry, one of the founders of Carson City, set aside around four hectares of land that would host a future capitol building. The rest is history. Currently, the building offers a working place for the governor, with its second floor showcasing different historical exhibits.

Shoe Tree Brewing Company

The company is located just a few minutes’ drive from Carson City. You can enjoy glasses of tasty beer and nature’s hot spring at this attraction site. The company, which offers a spectrum of traditional beers, was established by Jeff and Paul Young. It was not until 2017 that the two brothers decided to make their operation full-scale. Wicked Shifty and Blood Orange are renowned brands from the company. The firm is mainly visited by locals and international tourists looking to steam off the city atmosphere. It is also important to note that the company is on the same land as Carson Hot Springs Park. The site is open throughout the week from noon to around 9 p.m.

Sand Harbor

The Sand Harbor Beach in Carson City, Nevada is among the most beautiful attractions along Lake Tahoe. The beach is situated at the eastern side of Lake Tahoe’s shoreline on the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. The beach allows visitors to engage in surfing, camping, hiking, and fishing. However, those who enjoy a relaxing retreat can also enjoy a tremendous exquisite visit to one of the beach’s several picnic centers. It is worth mentioning that most of the picnic sites are equipped with barbecues and tables. In addition, the famous Shakespeare Festival happens at the park every summer. The park is open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The entrance fee is $10, and for non-NV vehicles, you will be required to pay $15.
